The Beatles during the filming of Help!, 14 April 1965. Just four ordinary lads outside their communal Beatle pad in Ailsa Avenue, Twickenham. After exiting their Rolls Royce, the Fab Four waled up to their doorways. Two women bystanders debate whether to wave or not. The two ladies were played by Dandy Nichols and Gretchen Franklin, who would later go on to star in Till Death Us Do Part and Eastenders.
The inside scenes of the four houses were shot at the nearby Twickenham Studios as the interior was one big room on the set.
