Beatles London

The Scala Theatre played an important part during the filming of A Hard Day’s Night in 1964. It was mocked up like a TV studio as well. Before an audience of 350 screaming fans, the Beatles performed Tell me Why, If I Fell, I Should Have Known Better and She Loves You. Phil Collins was aged 13 at the time and was a member of the audience. This part of the film was filmed on March 31 1964.
